How To Make Money Blogging? Does The Empower Network Affiliate Company Have The Answer?
The Empower Network is an affiliate company that has developed a huge blog network in just a few short weeks. Co-founders, David Sharpe and David Wood, claim to be able to teach their affiliates how to make money blogging on their network.
EpostMedia editor Roderick MacKenzie is an internet marketer for small business and has spent a great deal of time in the online marketing space. He is an Empower Network insider and he had this to say about making money with your blog:
“In order to make money blogging you need two things. First, you need traffic. If no one sees your blog, you can’t sell them anything. Second, you need something to sell. Something that the kind of people who read your blog want to buy. These two things are a winning combination. I believe the Empower Network has both of these bases covered and in the coming weeks they will turn this double into a triple and home-run. That’s why I joined their program.”
Mr. MacKenzie obviously believes the affiliate company’s traffic and monetization strategies are sound. These strategies have been used elsewhere, but not in quite the same way.
Empower Network Blogging and Affiliate Strategy
First, the Empower Network has created a massive blog, setting up ‘sub-blogs’ for all members and encouraging them to blog daily. They already have over 5000 members and all of these blogs are on the same domain. This means that it is one big website.
If just one third of the current members blog daily, that would be over 1500 new pieces on content on the site every day. This is a recipe for a lot of traffic and some clout with the search engines. They are already tearing up the Alexa traffic rankings and are within the top 7000 websites on the internet.
As to how they help their members make money blogging, it has to do with how they positioned themselves as an affiliate company. They’ve done a couple of things differently than most affiliate companies out there…
- They pay out 100% commissions.
- Payouts are directly to affiliate’s own merchant accounts.
- The owners make money through commissions the same way everyone else in the company does without taking a percentage of their affiliate’s sales. (Rare for affiliate company owners.)
- Just over 20% of sales are passed up to the affiliate who recruited you.
- Leads are your own. You capture their email addresses and can use the affiliate company as a front end product to market another opportunity.
“The Empower Network blog doesn’t appear to have been the driving force behind the majority of sales, but the current traffic rankings suggest it should be doing so soon, so now’s the time to get in. At a $25.00 price point, there is very little risk in joining. Insiders who have little to no internet marketing experience are reporting more sales and recurring income created in two weeks than they had in five years marketing other products.” - Roderick MacKenzie
The Empower Network affiliate company says it can teach the masses how to make money blogging and it’s possible that their model will make some lasting changes to the way affiliate companies do business. We’ll be keeping our eye on them over the next few months to see how it all pans out. More on the Empower Network Here.
